It is such a busy time here at CPC right now! We're gearing up for our Bold & Beautiful Women's Conference in just 22 days (but who's counting, right). We're going to give you a sneak peek of what you can expect this year!

We're excited about our unique shopping experience planned for you at our B&B Boutique! There will be several hand made, one of a kind items for you to browse through. Contributed by our very own CPC family. They're so talented it's unreal!

Like these Journals by Melissa Rollins!

And these gorgeous mugs by Jessica Spencer...

And these t-shirt necklaces by Krystle Goodman...

These are just the tip of the iceberg, there will be so much more in the boutique. Not to mention our Bold & Beautiful T-shirts. If you haven't already bought one, trust us, you will! They look AND feel amazing!

We're planning on having so much FUN that weekend between shopping, games, prizes, a fashion show, and after parties! You will have the time of your life! And you'll definitely want to stay for the after parties. Friday night is Carnival night and Saturday night is Chocolate night (yes...chocolate is a delicious party theme)!

Besides having a blast, you'll also get to hear from some amazing women of God. For more info you can check out our Facebook event or our website. Call to register now for $40 or register at the door for $50. See you there!

Headed back to Santa Domingo this morning. Last night of crusade was great with over 11,000 in attendance. Ended up with around 12,000 decisions for Christ for the week according to our counters. Special thanks to Centerpointfamily Church for making this happen.

A week ago I posted that people on a mission team always seem to have special skills to handle a unexpected situation encountered...little did I realize how prophetic these words would be...late Saturday on our return trip from Barahona to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, going through the mountains, our bus found the road blocked by a terrible accident involving several semis and other vehicles. Several of the semis were engulfed in flames. Our teams went to assist, in other countries there is limited First Response teams, none ever showed up. I located a man who had been pulled from one of the burning semis and just left laying on the side of the road. One leg was almost severed, the other crushed. I raced back to the bus to grab belts for tourniquets, a first aid kit, and 25 year old CAN Jenna Bess. Jenna rapidly stopped the bleeding, and I watched in amazement as she stabilized the driver. We then used blankets as a stretcher and loaded him on our bus and drove him back an hour to the nearest hospital. Jenna did all the right things in route and kept this man alive till we reached the hospital. He is now recovering, one leg was amputated, they are not sure about the other yet .. he has many injuries .. but he is alive .. if Jenna has not been with us the man would have died .. Jenna Bess you are my hero!! I am so proud of your poise under pressure! I believe God made sure you were with us because the driver of the truck Raul, needed you to be there this night. And Raul accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on this night. I serve an awesome God.

What an amazing week in Barahona Dominican Republic! God has been so faithful every step of the way! It is always good to come home though. So blessed!

On our way to Santo Domingo tonight we were stopped b/c there was a huge fire blocking the road from a multiple car accident. Our guys went to see what was wrong & they found 1 survivor who apparently had been drug from his vehicle & left in the road. Jenna created a tourniquet & by acting quickly saved his life. He was badly hurt with his right leg severed. No one would help him or drive him to a hospital so we all scrunched to the back of the bus & prayed while they carried him on & we drove back to Barahona to take him to the hospital. While en route Eduardo shared w/him about Jesus and the man, Raul, prayed and asked Jesus into his life. If we had been on any later on that road that man wouldn’t be alive. Talk about being at the right place at the right time.

PRAISE JESUS!!!!! At children's crusade there were 1450 kids in attendance and SEVEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE SALVATIONS!!!!! Now that is AWESOME!!

Chris Rollins wrote:
Ready for the last leg home. Had an amazing last day with the children's crusade and evening crusade last night. Overall, we saw over 12,000 people give their lives to Jesus this week. One of those was our very special bus driver all week.
God loves the world, but He cares just as much about the one! People are quick to understand God's power, but their eternities are forever changed when they understand His love!

Getting ready for first night of crusade here in the Dominican. So far the teams on the streets have seen over a 1000 people make decisions to follow Christ. Have had several notable miracles including Mekelle and my daughter Alyssa prayed for an 8 year old mute girl who began to speak for the first time. Awesome stuff.

Just had a group of about 175 people on a street corner and had 87 salvations!! I prayed for a 83 year old woman who couldn't see enough to read anything. After about a minute of praying she was reading the fine print on the crusade flyer!!! Praise God!!!

Danny, Jessica D. and I prayed for a deaf/mute woman today. She began to hear the sounds

Jessica Bowen wrote Tuesday:
Had the privilege of spending the entire day in the streets of Barahona sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the precious Dominican people today. Sharing Jesus’ love with the kids and leading them in the simple prayer of asking Him to come into their hearts is my absolute favorite part of ministry! I love how their little faces light up when you tell them how much God loves them and Jesus wants to be their best friend. Just being out in the streets with the people did my heart good – reminded me of how much I truly love people – of all cultures and backgrounds. That is why I love missions – you’re always meeting new people from diverse cultures and can appreciate God’s amazing love for diversity in all his creation.  :)
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALYSSA DEZORT!!!
